Session #6

I hope you enjoyed your time with the NBS Nelson Striders and Brett in at Shoe Clinic last night.

If you are keen on joining the Striders for a walk or jog again, then they meet each Tuesday and Thursday nights at 5.45pm, and Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7.30am (both walking and jogging groups).  No fees.

Next week we head into migym (Buxton Square carpark) for a session with Nige.  If you can get there just before 6.30pm, as the entry doors lock down at 6.30pm as the gym heads into 24 hour mode.  If you are running late, then please give Nige a call on his mobile (I have emailed this to you) so that he can pop down and let you in.  Please wear comfortable loose clothes, sports shoes of any kind, and bring a towel and water bottle.

I hope you weren't too sore after your boxing session this week - I will forward through the contact details for the boxers once Dawn sends them through, otherwise she can be contacted through her workplace,

This coming Tuesday night is at Bicycle Business in Halifax Street (inbetween the library and Burger King, was called Ride previously).  Carl Garth will take through the basics of bike maintenance/mechanics in store.  6.30pm.
No need to bring anything - he will work from the bikes in store.

Nige will meet you there, hopefully with some great stories to tell from the World Triathlon Championships (he is competing up in Auckland this weekend).

Session #3 VENUE CHANGE

Please note there is a venue change for our session this week.

The Boxing session will now take place at Results Gym, 1 Kinzett Terrace (if travelling down Trafalgar St, go straight through the roundabout as if heading into the water).

We still have the super energetic Dawn Dickey and her team of coaches - Alan and Dion all lined up and ready for an action packed evening of boxing.  Along with Dawn there will be boxers Marcus, Andrew, Ethan and Ginge to show you the ropes.  PLUS - Jeff Rackley will also be coming for the first fifteen minutes to chat about the sport and give you the opportunity to ask him any questions.

The time remains the same.  6.30pm.

Please bring sports shoes, drink bottles and a towel.
Enjoy!

Email confirmations

For some reason, a few of the emails haven't been getting to where they are supposed to be.  So, if you have registered and haven't heard from me, don't panic, please still head to The Surburban Club tonight at 6.30pm for our first session and then just double check with Nige that I have your email address correct.

It seems to be xtra accounts that haven't been receiving for some reason (maybe because it had an attachment perhaps)?

Session #1

Tomorrow night is the first session for MANSPORT 2012!

6.30pm at The Surburban Club in Tahunanui Drive for a fun introductory evening of DARTS with Keith and his team.

There is still time if you have any mates/colleagues that wish to also take part - get them to bring along their completed registration form tomorrow night and give to Nige.
